I realize this is supposed to be funny (and it actually is), but it's also a very a sad reality.  Aside from these few items he lists, I know very few men who truly share feelings.  I'm not talking about the "I love and adore you, now let's get naked" form of male swooning.  Maybe it's a Mars/Venus thing going on, but unfortunately, men and women are wired differently.  That's why women reach out to other women (Moms, sisters, girlfriends, etc.) to get the emotional "share your feelings" needs met.

That's also another reason women read romance/smut, written by other women.  In these obvious fictional men, the author can create the perfect men that are exactly chiseled out of clay into the perfect male specimen, as a lot of women would want.  They are hot, strong, sensual, loving, adoring, and all worship their women and tell them all day long how much they love, worship and adore them, and like icing on the cake, they are all sickenly wealthy and have plenty of time for multiple sexual encounters a day, with very few of them having to hurry to get back to work or answer to anyone but themselves.  Yes, extremely unrealistic, but it also addresses a need that many women have that is being unmet in their reality.    4951

extremely unrealistic

@donnatella: So female reality is extremely unrealistic, while males are more realistic.
Lets vote a woman in for president!And I thought some of the current POTUS ideas were unrealistic. 4951

@FoFa
No I did NOT say their reality is extremely unrealistic. I was referencing the fictional novels that include every walking dream of most women rolled into these picture perfect dream men. If they can't have their perfect fantasy in their reality, then they go find it elsewhere in novels and movies, etc. 4951

guess I'm one lucky lady ...my hubby is a "talker" sometimes I wish he would just be quiet for a few seconds...sigh. He talks about everything , tells me things I don't want to know , he has no secrets because he tells them all to me !  He even talks in his sleep !  I know what bothers him & what he feels good about . He tells me when things at work bother him , if he's tired or if something aches .Like I said he talks 24 / 7 when he is on the road or in another country he calls me several times a day & always when he wakes up & before he goes to bed. If my hubby isn't talking he is sick  & I drag his butt to the doctors & as soon as he starts to "chatter" I know he is back on the road to recovery . Guess I have that one in a million guy , cause he talks & talks & never has a quiet moment . 4951
