I'm at Fiesta Azteca, on y'all's recommendation that the Fajitas are good. When they first opened, we used to drive a good ways to come eat here, But they got cocky after 7/8 mths of putting out good food and got back to the standard Mexican food pretty quick. Have eaten here off and on in the last 10 yrs, usually cause somebody else wanted to eat here, never been too impressed. Tried it this eve, although the Margaritas are decent, especially for $2.50, but if you're a Mexican Rest and can't put put "juicy, flavorful' fajitas (it's in your name), just give it up, it's simple. I can stop by Kroger on the way home, buy some $5/6 skirt steak, sprinkle some simple Fajita seasoning, and pan fry it, and do better, definitely not be dry like I'm eating now. I'll pay the $35 for Pappasiddos or make them myself before coming here again.

Why does the meat seem to have a shine to it? 4951

Now that you mention it, I don't recall anyone ordering fajitas there any time we have had a meet up there. I think we started going there because that's where @Brat was having a drink for happy hour a few times.

It just because one of our spots, especially since they always gave us our table in the back corner. 4951

@BooBear has gone there several times. She just finds something on the menu that works for her. There IS a variety so there is something for everyone. 4951

I so agree! Would much rather do it at home.  We hardly EVER eat out anymore, way too expensive!  Plus I hate large crowds and enjoy eating in the comfort of my own home in my pjsEmoticon 4951

I usually get the grilled avocado. That is delicious!!! You have to specifically ask them for a nonbreaded fried one but they have it. I like their rice

@okiedokie that I cant do fajita beef...too fatty. 4951

Sometimes. At a happy hour, queso or guacamole, chips and salsa is all that is needed. I've only eaten dinner once there at a meet and I think I split a large app with @bp2018. Their stuffed avocados are really good. I'm good with that and a Rita. 4951

@donnatella: I'll have to pull up the previous thread, but the only reason I went there (on the way home from the golf course, i.e. pretty hungry) because a cpl members (more than one if I recall correctly) here were bragging on the Fajitas there, figured I'd try them out if they were that good, not a major deal, just I disagree, they were not very good, atleast imo.

@donnatella: 5 members, in the Fajita thread, including yourself, recommended the Fajita's at Fiesta Azteca, I thought I was missing out on something, lol.https://www.kingwood.com/messages/best_fajitas_in_kwhumble.php?message_board_parent_id=1109999&ampEmoticonage=&vpage=0&message_board_category_id=8

My mom grew up in what I call a one sneeze town(you sneeze and you miss it). The little cafe there had hands down, the best fajitas. Too bad I am not willing to drive the 10hours it takes to get there. 4951
