I just realized that I've already tainted my baby girl's innocence. I was making our lunches, and when I squirted some ranch dressing out on a plate it made a fart noise. From the depths of the living room I hear my beautiful baby girl say "Who did dat?".

@BBQguy:

The sad part is that she gets it completely from me. I can't even blame her dad for teaching her to be gross. 4951

Now you have to teach her to always blame the dog.Emma is still startled by her farts.   I hate the ones that smell like she crapped her pants.  She realeased one of those  during a library class the other day!!  I had to hold in my laugh.   4951

I kept asking dh if he was farting the other day. He was getting **** because he knew I didn't believe him when he said no. I kept checking Taylor for poop but there was nothing. Turned out...she was letting silent ones go. It was so gross! Almost as bad as the dog's farts. 4951

All 3 of my girls have undesirable bits and pieces from me. I'm a guy's guy that had no sisters and very few girl cousins or aunts growing up, so it was bound to happen. I'm always going to be proud to be their father, but I beam a little extra when the wifey says "YOUR daughter..." after they have gone awry. Emoticon  4951

Me too! But it shouldn't be that way! I shouldn't be the one laughing when she farts!

I am going to work on teaching her to blame the dogs. Though it would make me happier than anything if she blamed them on her dad. Emoticon 4951

It's actually good that she already knows that public pooting is rude and socially unacceptable. 4951

I think one of my proudest dad moments, was when the youngest(during her early stages of potty training) stood up in front of the toilet to pee. She was so proud of herself, that we had to sort of approve. Emoticon  4951
