DH and I are thinking about switching how many of you use Sprint? And if you have Sprint do you like the service?

They offered us a great deal

@silly123:
I've had sprint since 2002. I keep them because every time I threaten to leave, they bribe the hell outta me. I have a free signal Booster in my apt because elm grove is in a dead zone. The signal can be sketchy at times but I know that every time I shop other carriers, the prices aren't even competitive with sprint. Right now I get everything unlimited, with no speed or data caps, 4 lines for $283/month after taxes and fees.

Sprints reception blows. We have ATT. They are expensive but I rarely have any problems. I have 6 lines, unlimited talk and text and 40 gigs of shared data. I pay $476 a month but I have several subscription things on there.

Edit.. $519 a month. 4951

@topcat: lol, that's like 70/month/phone, including insurance. That's cheap as far as I'm concerned.

Single line Verizon 2GB data and unlimited talk and text $60/month, $70 with insurance. 4 lines 10GB of data $260. The $160 you see ATT and Verizon advertising is if you bring your own device. If you choose Verizon come see me in Cleveland to get those deals and some others I have, like half off you phone. 4951

I have sprint, and have had them since 2003. They offer the best deal around. Their service is sketchy at times, because of the trees, but compared to the other companies,, you cant beat the plans. I get unlimited talk to cell, unlimited text, unlimited web, and 1500 shared minutes for family of 5. I also get free nights and weekends after 8pm, til 6am the fees is what gets me. 4951

Sprint stinks!  We had them for 2 years and I left the day after my contract expired.  If you enjoy getting the absolute worst data speeds in the industry, go for Sprint.  It was about $20/month cheaper than Verizon, but unlimited data is useless when speeds are slower than dial-up.  Avoid them like the plague.  If you want to save money, go to T-Mobile.  We went with Verizon because I wanted a company with a great network.  So far, it's been very true.  Plus their LTE phones are factory unlocked.  I used my 5S in Germany with a German sim card with no problems at all.  Plus when the contract is up, I've got an unlocked phone which I can take to any carrier and use. 4951

I had Sprint since they came to Houston in 97/98 (I forget), they had me listed as something different (forget what they called it, Gold customer or something) everytime I called them as I'd been with them for years, if I needed a new phone, and didn't qualify for an upgrade, didn't matter, they'd overnite a new phone everytime (I lost a lot of phones), if a problem with my bill (only complaint, at the time of Sprint, they screwed up your bill if you didn't pay attention to it), they'd credit what the screw up was and give me a free month, ect, ect,, that's when I lived in Atascocita.When I moved to KW in 07, it was terrible, no reception what so ever in the house, and spotty cov'g all over KW, had to go with ATT. Been happy with ATT as well, paying $85 for 2 lines, unlimited text/talk, and 2 GB of internet, they tell me all the time if I needed more lines, it would be $25 a piece (and another $20 to bump up to 5 GB), I guess its the more GB's people need for internet, but I never understood how others are paying in the 2's, even 3 hundred dollars for cell phones. 4951
