@Murf:
We tried it but there was not anything worth watching that would keep us past the trial week.

We did the free trial of Hulu plus and I hated it because they make you watch commercials. So we switched back to Netflix. 4951

@messyjessi986765: Seriously? HuluPlus,  the one you have to pay for, makes you watch commercials?    good grief,  yeah guess its not worth the hassle of keeping it.

We have hulu ($8 per month), along with amazon prim ($99 a year plus free shipping and discounts) and netflix ($9). I love them all for different reasons. Netflix is for good movies, maybe some you've never heard of but are critically acclaimed, some not, lots of Disney and choices for the kids. They also have a lot of shows with full seasons, so that's cool. Amazon prime is similar, but they're library consists of thing netflix doesn't have, all of the HBO shows (true blood, sopranos, ect) plus tons of movies and seasoned shows. I like it because it usually has what netflix doesn't. Hulu is great in it's own right, they're able to air recently aired shows from major networks, including cable (hence the commercials). This is like having cable in my opinion, except it's so much cheaper. The commercials aren't nearly as bad as regular tv, and I love how it remembers what you were watching before and that it always has current things to watch. Anyway, sorry for the rant. I just highly suggest getting all 3 if you really want the cable experience without paying the money. It sure beats paying suddenlink for their crappy service. :-) 4951

@Atru728: I am pretty sure this is the route that we are going to go...we have Apple TV and already subscribe to Netflix and are looking into Hulu Plus now for the regular TV shows.  I have the HBO 2 GO password from my mother's account so I can watch all the HBO movies and show on the Apple TV to so that works out.  I'm really thinking it doesn't make much sense to pay for Suddenlink any further. 4951

@Fallon: I think I have read about them before, I will be sure to check out the flick thanks!Really sucks that hulu plus, that you have to pay for, has commercials, yet amazon video, which you have to pay for, does not have any commercials and still has recent shows.    we missed recording Extant last week because of the bridge and another show, but amazon video had it all ready for us.
