I just went in there for the first time in probably a couple of months...God help that boy when he gets off work tonight.

He is so neat! His room stays spotless. So I assumed his bathroom was clean too. I was wrong. Very very wrong. 4951

When the kids were still here, I stopped going upstairs.  Every time I had gone up there, I would get ticked at how messy it was.  So I just stayed downstairs and repeated this to myself.... "They will be gone soon. They will be gone soon." 4951

I TRY to be that way but now that I've seen it it HAS to be addressed. My middle daughters room is disgusting. I can't handle clutter and stuff just laying around. 4951

Go check out the ladies room at Best buy in Humble.  Filthy!  Toilet paper was everywhere on the floor.  Used ladies' pad on the floor.  I told someone at Customer Service that it needed to be cleaned and I should not have to look at that! 4951

My boys shared a bathroom upstairs and it was AWFUL!  There were always dirty clothes piled up behind the door and about 20 empty bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower.My oldest son kept his room pretty clean and was neurotic about his car,so we assumed it was the middle son that was the messy one.Well the oldest went off to college & all was revealed.  It was the oldest that was the bathroom slob!I do not even go upstairs anymore, I am afraid to go in my daughter's room and bathroom! 4951

Now that the bathroom is done- I am working on re-doing the bedroom my son occupied. Last Sept after he moved out I re did his Bathroom. I felt like I needed to wear a hazard suit!!
Well his bedroom is no better. It took me the better part of a week to scrub the walls with Krud Kutter. And how the heck does one get FOOD ( which wasn't allowed in bedrooms in the first place) ON THE 12 foot CEILING?????
My daughter's room wasn't much better when we re did hers- BUT at least hers didn't smell like a garbage dump. He kept saying it was the room or the vent. Funny his apartment smells the same way now. I won't even go into his apartment. 3 walls done- 4th to get a new coat of texture and then paint and then up comes the carpet and down goes wood flooring- voila! I told the boy he can never move back in!

@angiekaye: I have 3 girls and my oldest is N A S T Y ! ! I dont understand how anyone can be so gross. I really really really hope she grows out of it and doesnt end up on a hoarders show when shes older

@mm4731: she will- my dd did. Now she's OCD-lol she did marry a guy who is not interested in clean. Karma is a b- she now understands how I felt.
I guess it got out of control when we moved here. The MB is downstairs so I never had a reason to go upstairs. They did their own laundry and I just didn't keep up with going into their rooms and inspecting more closely. My bad as a parent. Oh well we're empty nesters now and the house is slowly getting restored. My pack rat hubby needs to go overseas so I can go on a cleaning binge 😈

@mm4731:
My oldest is CRAZY about cleaning g sruff. Not just a little but going around the house yelling at everyone nuts. She is turning g the baby like that too. If I have a glass next to me Andie will tell me I have to put it in the dishwasher..she makes her stuffed animals clean up before bed.

@Annie: or make them clean it. I use to make travis pee outside in the morning when he was little, and we lived in BFE.

@mpjp0907: Tell them to sit down to pee.  It keeps everything cleaner.
