We used to have this ice cream stand back in Ohio. Allen "crazy cones" their slogan was "melt in the cold, freeze in the heat" they were good as heck but I don't know if that really happened lol 4951

When I was in college they used to have this company come into the lunch rooms and make this ice cream using nitrogen....kind of like Dippin' Dots if you are familiar with them.  The nitrogen freezes the ice cream so cold it is as solid as a rock.  I could see how something like this could be of use in Houston. 4951

Most food is so processed it isn't real anymore

@Stealth83: According to the article, this is most likely why the ice cream (if you want to call it that) doesn't melt -- the additives.  According to Wal-Mart's website, the ice cream sandwiches contain milk, cream, buttermilk, sugar, whey, and corn syrup. It
also contains "1 percent or less of mono-and diglycerides, vanilla
extract, guar gum, calcium sulfate, carob bean gum, cellulose gum,
carrageenan, artificial flavor, and annatto for color."

That just isn't right that it won't melt after sitting out at 80 degrees for 12hrs +.....makes me think there is a polymer or something in there.  Imagine how long it would sit in your digestive system before it processed.  YUCK! 4951
