My hubby just told me that when he went biking yesterday around Kingwood lake, there was a 6 foot-ish gator about 10 feet off shore. He was having a stare down with a crane, but when my hubby got off his bike, he sunk down in the water. I wish he got a picture. We used to see gators all the time in Florida, but I haven't seen a single one here. 4951
I remember when I moved to Montana and I used to scan the waters when we were out at the lake. My hubby finally asked me what I was doing. I just did it automatically since I grew up in Florida. LOL 4951
Yes, there are gators all around us. Lake Houston, down by Summerwood in the water near the HEB, even had them on the water holes at Atascocita Country Club 30 years ago. Several years ago our neighbor would travel early morning to work down Lake Houston Pkwy and one morning a huge gator was stretched across the road and blocked the traffic. They just kindly waited until he mosied along. If you are in a body of water around here you are probably not alone. 4951

and you're definitely raising the property values in your neighborhood. all the neighbors are saving money by cancelling the cable service, who needs cable when it is right outside the window? 4951
