All right KDC- give me your best plumber. We have a water leak outside. We suspect a pine tree root found the pipe. We're praying it's in the sprinkler system but it's probably in the pipe that goes from the meter to the house. The problem?? It's coming up right between a huge oak and a huge pine= NOT fun.
So I need a good, honest reliable person to get this done RIGHT for us 4951

Kenneth is honest and a good plumber.  Call him.I just had a clogged drain in the kitchen.  I calledJohn Moore because of the $69 drain clean special.  They cleared the drain, but it was clogged again the next day.  They did provide a refund.  I called Kenneth.  He unclogged the drain and it remained unclogged.  4951

@KTownTexican: thanks we did all that- it definitely a leak- we had All Pro out to assess and they came to the same conclusion. We want to hire out because it requires having to dig through routes- even on a reroute. We were impressed with the guys at All Pro BUT now we can't get them to call back to schedule sooo we're back to looking. We'll try Kenneths

@Jpgurl: good luck with that,,, we had a leak and we had a $15,000 bill after said and done. The leak was under the house right in the middle and they had to dig. My insurance paid only about $4000,, I had to eat the rest, because it was UNDER the house.I used American Leak Detection from spring.. they used a camera to run the sewer line and find the break. for them to run the camera,, is about $250.00

You don't live in elm grove do ya ? We had sewer issues for years. Thought it was roots too until we finally started digging after getting omega plumbing out here to run a video. We dug up our line where it meets to the sewer of the city. Found that suddenlink 15 years ago had drilled straight thru our sewer pipes with a 4 inch fiber line. Busted our pipes and caused severe damages.

Needless to say after a few phone calls we had about 20 workers in our yard including the coh they dug the line repaired and no problem since!

This was causing huge water build up in our yard. 4951

@KTownTexican: you had a 15,000.00 bill??? I'd die! Ours hasnt gone up a huge amount but the meter is running. Getting a little frustrated- All Pro and Kenneth's won't return calls. Lakeside estimated 1500.00 (1,000 higher than All pro)to lay a new line ( because of the tree roots involved) and the rest won't give us an estimate over the phone and want to charge to come out and look. Looks like dh will be renting a trencher and we'll be doing it ourselves. Oh we'll at least the ground is soft now Emoticon

@angiekaye: no and it's not the cable co. This is sudden- started 1 week ago. Both the sprinkler and the main line runs under 2 huge trees so it's roots. And Alpha Omega will not be in the bid running- they've messed up too many things with too many people I know

@Jpgurl:
YES,,,this was all sewer lines, they replaced. thanks to tree rootsThey had to dig under the house. that wasn't the cost. the cost was the testing and replacing all new pipes. first it was just about 20 feet of digging, but once they fixed that part they discovered that the break was farther in,, about another 30 feet.  Since they were under the house, they recommended replacing connections from sinks, and toilet to the new larger pipe. then when they were done,, they noticed that the water was not flowing properly to the sewer and it was backing up towards the house. So they recommended to dig up the yard. (NO INSURANCE COVERAGE), replace the sewer line to the city. They saved me $800 by not digging 100 ft. to my neighbors and down,, they dug down my yard and replaced the old pipe with a new one. 4951

@KTownTexican:
Oh Lawdy!!! Yeah we're looking at about 30 feet from the meter to where it goes into the house. The leak is small but needs to be done. We'd gladly let somebody do it if anyone would return our call. That pine tree's days are numbered!!
