Are you pulling up carpet and replacing with tile? If so, that's much easier than replacing old tile with new tile. It's a mess busting up the old tile. You can do this @okiedokie ! You can rent a wet tile cutter. Buttering your tile/floor is the easy part...as is the spacing. It's the grout clean up that seems to take forever. Good luck if you decide to take on the project. We need before and after pics gal! 4951

You can rent a wet tile cutter. Buttering your tile/floor is the easy part...as is the spacing. It's the grout clean up that seems to take forever. Good luck if you decide to take on the project. We need before and after pics gal!
 
@cgm10sne1: We want to do the whole first floor which is both tile and carpet.  We figured we would start in a carpeted room and go from there, realizing it would take a few months to get the whole floor done.  Maybe I could have a tile party Emoticon
