Two HPD Officers, Michael Miceli, 28, of Humble and Emerson Canizales, 28, of Kingwood were recently charged with criminal conduct involving bribery. The DEA received information about the officers activities and set up an operation to catch them. Miceli and Canizales while on duty and in a marked police vehicle escorted a tow truck hauling a vehicle loaded with cocaine across the Houston area.As part of a plea bargain Miceli disclosed the amount of money they had received in bribes and was sentenced to one year probation while Canizales will serve one year in federal prison. I hope these are the same two cops that let my neighbor trade car repairs for getting out of trouble when I called the police on his 9 year old driving the car when no one was home. I heard the whole thing and confronted the cops about it. "Uhhhh... Uhmmm.... No... He um... Has... Um... My son's car at his auto shop... Yeah...." ******S. Thank God I know some upstanding, good policemen personally, or I would have zero faith left in the PD. 4951
