Frito Pie, not a fan.I had seen this for years, just never appealed to me.One day DD said, you should try this, it is really great!I think I was at the state fair.So I ordered one, not worth the calories in my opinion.Would so rather have a chili dog with onions. 4951

Speaking of Chili Dogs.I have been a huge fan of James Coney Island chili dogs for years.Last couple times i went (humble on 1960 just west of 59)  I was not impressed.Have they changed, or me? 4951

I'm not a chili fan unless I have cheese, finely diced onions and Fritos to go along with it because a plain bowl of chili is not appetizing for me. Not something I eat often but it is one of my favorite Fall "first cool snap" meals, second, of course, to tortilla soup.

Now, after this post, I'll be craving Fritos pie for dinner and DH will be thinking I have a weird off the wall craving and suspect I'm pregnant. 4951

I had my first frito pie this year at one of my kiddos baseball games. Wouldn't be so bad if it had some lettuce, tomato and sour cream added in. Then it would be a walking taco 4951

@mpjp0907:
That sounds positively awful lol. I only like lettuce and tomatoes in salads. Even then I have to separate the two and eat them individually.

It's actually not too much different from taco salad, so lettuce and tomato etc. isn't too far off base. I've never had it that way, but I can see it working. 4951
