I loved all the divi divi trees and how the people would put the broken glass at the top of their fences. I don't know how much has changed since was there, I know the natural bridge had fallen. Is baby beach still there?
I do remember my cousin and me picking up young Dutch hitchhikers..
@BooBear: Â It truly did look like a dealership... one jam packed with people though! The divi divi trees are fewer than they were, we were told by a crazy cab driver. Baby Beach is still there, and the Natural Pool. There are many high rise hotels and high-end malls on the one end, and abject poverty on the other end. We were told by one waiter that the minimum wage is $900/month for 48 hours a week, and the cheapest apartment is $700/month. The refinery is closed down, tourism is all they have. Didn't see any hitchhikers... probably a good thing!
