Got a call from a family friend tonight...Seems he and his wife purchased a roadside, touristy, fudge shop/farmer's market/BBQ cafe type place. That's all well and good, but none of them know anything about smoking meat. The previous owners made their money off of the fudge and farmer's market stands, so the pork sandwiches were made very poorly, in electric "smokers". In so many words, he said "HELP!!!". He wants to learn, but first he needs some better product for this busy busy weekend. So, the oldest daughter and I are headin' to Conway on Wednesday, with Slugger in tow. Besides cooking some holiday meats for people tomorrow, there'll be plenty of packing, loading, prepping, etc.. to overfill my day. But, I'll enjoy every minute of it...along with this weekend.
If I don't get a chance to say it later, I hope y'all have a great & safe 4th!! See ya' next week!
