Due to work, I've lived and worked in some weird, wonderful and downright awful places.

Since 2002, my Wife & I have lived in Germany, Norway, Dubai, Denmark, Italy, US (Kingwood), Italy again... And now going back to Kingwood.

Worked all over - UK, Norway, Oman, Dubai, Germany, Gulf of Mexico, Sakhalin Island (Russia), Qatar, St. John's (Canada), Denmark - offshore and on land in these countries.

Favourite place?.... Initially it was a Dubai - hands down no brainer... until we moved to Kingwood. Stayed there for 3 years and did the "American Thing" - RV'ing, skeet and monster truck. Loved it... And will again!

Worst place?... Sakhalin Island. 2 days solid traveling to get there and working for 6 weeks away from home. -40C was not fun!

Except for the cold, it's a beautiful place and the cleanest city I've ever seen in my life.

Kingwood, TX

The single life sucks but the city itself is amazingly beautiful. If you're driving down Kingwood Drive for the first time, you'd think this is a scene right out of a movie.

Never been outside of the US.  I loved Durango though-the hippy, granola chick in me could live there in a heartbeat and be the happiest girl ever.  Clothing optional 4951

Hub goes to Dubai all the time on Biz and he loves it! He also loves Singapore. We've been to many many different countries over the years. My all time favorite was Australia. Aruba and Costa Rica are a tie. Third: Ireland Least favorite EVER: PARIS   I've never seen more **** on the streets from dogs...and they are also on leashes. The French are too good to pick up dog crap. I thought it rather dirty.   4951

@jax: I so agree! It always makes me smile driving up or down Kingwood Dr...especially in springtime and early summer. I love how the trees canopy the street. I miss it!

been to mexico once, hated itWent to Jamaica great place to be treated like  a queen, really pretty site seeing and reasonable prices.Went to Costa Rica.. Tico's are really great people, stupid but great.  Prices are higher than USA and gas was ridiculously high.  The roads!  OMG dont even get me started on their drivers and way they have the roads designed.  Just plain crazy.  But it was another great beautiful country for the most part.I would rather be in the mountains of Wyoming in "Gods Country" anyday though Emoticon 4951

I've never been out of the USA.  I have traveled a fair amount within this country.  There is so much more I want to see here in this country.  I've been to California several times (L.A. and San Francisco areas).  Great places to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Las VegasI've been to St Louis numerous times.  It's nice north of SL along the river (Illinois side) and I love the Italian food on the hill.  All along the gulf coast and down through FloridaSeveral times to Atlanta, GAThe Smoky Mountains several times.Almost all of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.I would love to see the museums and national monuments in DC, as well as Utah, Colorado, Philadelphia, Alaska and several other places in the US.  If I ever have to move, it will either be to the Hill Country or to south Louisiana, but we're happy here. 4951

I enjoyed Winnipeg. Lots to see and do. Cold...yes, if you visit during the winter months. I went 3-4 summers in a row and just enjoyed each visit.

Washington DC

I was 18 when I vacationed there for about a week and also enjoyed my time. I saw all the monuments, parks and other site seeing "stuff". I have no interest in going back, but it was a great trip.
