my Hubby just asked if I wanted to go to this and or the Astros game. I think Astros will win out. Neither of us are into the car racing scene. 4951

I will watch it on TV. Â That's the only way to see the whole track. 4951

We are a very race-fan sort of bunch. We went to Austin to the first Formula One race a few years ago, and always go back home to Birmingham for the IndyCar race at Barber. We had season tickets at Texas Motorspeedway when we lived in Dallas. We did not buy tickets to this race because it's basically in a parking lot in late June in Houston, and neither my husband nor I fancy a heat stroke. He went down today to watch some of the action, and said it was basically what you'd expect. It will look better on television than it will in person, and it's just not set up very well. He did say that parking was $15, and the food options were slim today, although hopefully that will improve tomorrow and Sunday. 4951
