I was wanting to get our 4 year old into something this Fall, and the wifey would really like her to try dance/gymnastics. RB is very close to us, so it seems like the obvious choice. Do any of your kids go there? Pros/Cons? Also, do any of you know how far they'll let a girl go into little league baseball, before moving her to softball? 4951

@BBQguy: Can't help much on the RB question, but one friend of ours had their daughter in it all through high school in dance and she ended up with some partial scholarship to college for dance. On the baseball question, PONY (Kingwood Forest Cove baseball) allows girls to play through any age, I believe.  When my boys were in the league, they would occasionally have girls playing on their teams, commonly through about age 8.  After that, only a few girls stuck with it.  By 13/14 when boys hit their growth spurt, girls had moved on to softball or other sports.

Rowand Ballard has good programs. For 4 year olds it's all about fun and learning the basics. She should love it. As stated above, girls can play at any age at Forest Cove. As they get older it becomes a little harder to keep up unless they are very talented, but for T-ball there are normally a few girls in the league.  4951
