your dogs !!!!  OMG now that I am on an exercise kick I spend a lot of time on the greenbelts...  I am shocked by some of the behavior of dog owners......  Here are a couple things I have witnessed. that drive me nuts.1.  Owners alllowing there dogs to poop right on the path - not only do they not carry a bag and pick it up, they don't even bother to kick it off the trail.....2.  Dog owners carring leashes but not rather than have it attached to the dogs collar they let them run free. This is the exception MOST of the pet owners I have run across have been very nice, the dogs are nice, they move out of my way, and they clean up any mess...   just a few inconsiderate ones....  4951

Ugh! I hate it when dogs are off leash! I basically hate it when people don't thing a law applies to them. What if I'm with my little dog, she barks like she's all big and bad, and that off leash dog goes after her? Poop is bad enough. That's just rude. The safety issue is what ticks me off. 4951

I am also amazed that dog owners fail to give a Crap about their dog's crap. They have leashes now with bag holders. There is an offender that craps right in front of the mailboxes PICK UP YOUR DOGS POOP< PEOPLE!!!!  4951

I walk a really big dog, and he has a habit of pooping right in the road and on the greenbelt! His dog bum is so high up, plus he poos like a horse doesn't hunch down at all, so it splats into the road. I pick up what I can, but the neighbors pretty much hate me. I've made friends on their street, but some neighbors stare daggers at me lol. I do the best I can! Plus it's dog poop not anthrax.
I've tried for YEARS to train the habit away, but they live in a back yard with basically zero grass space, so they think concrete is a poo spot. 4951

These people must be related to the ones who change a diaper in the grocery store parking lot, then leave it on the ground.  4951

@OhHappyPets: As long as you make an effort that is all.....   I am talking about a trail of one piece turds that like Pedro said could be flicked off with a stick...   I don't expect you to have a hose with you to wash the sidewalk.. LOL  !!!

@topcatI know what you mean!  I went once on the greenbelt with my lil dog who has a big dog mentality and I did not feel comfortable walking her there!  There were loose dogs running around and I thought she was going to be attacked!  She did not but you never know.  At 8 pounds 2 ounces I cannot take that chance.  Dogs should be on a leash at all times.@GoldengirlI put little signs on my lawn asking for people to pick up their dog poop and right next to the sign there would be dog poop!  People are inconsiderate.  I walk around with a leash with a container that holds the poopy bags.  I always pick up after my dog!  I wish the city would provide poopy bag around the greenbelt like they do in Saratoga Springs.  I thought that was great when my brother was walking his dog.  They had the stations with the poopy bag and a barrel. 4951

What if  each village allocates a few beans from the HOA Dues to put up a few stations on the trails. You can get the poop bags at dollar tree. The parks have trashcans to throw the poop into. It's really not rocket science...or as my friend says "Rocket Surgery"! I don't even have a dog and I would support this! Just saying. 4951

Ooo my pet peeve is those extended leashes! And hogging up the trail. Or bicyclisys who don't warn they are coming around you and scare the bejeebers out of you. Some bikes are really quiet! The poo no longer bothers me, been running the trails for years, guess I'm used to it. Good to keep your eyes on the trail, if I had a dollar for every time I nearly stepped on a copperhead....... 4951

poop on the greenbelts is TERRIBLE!! I have given people the stink eye for letting their dogs poop right on the path and leave it there. I mean, really?? I run just about every day on the greenbelts and it is a problem, although I have noticed that some areas are better than others. For example, in the Bear Branch area it's not so bad.. Over in Kings Point (i think that's the name) by the water, it's worse!! Haven't figured out why. More dog owners?About the bike riders. I agree, we runners and bikers have a good system going. I love the little bell ding and "on your left" and "there are 3 of us" or whatever. I LOVE the greenbelts in KW!! ((My only complaint is MORE WATER STOPS. Well, water stops anywhere would be nice. A water fountain in the park or something!! I hate wearing a running water belt)) 4951
