So LeBron opts out and the Rockets are contenders to land him. I personally do not think it will happen, but it sure makes it interesting. I don't like his personality but then most big stars have big egos. I am not sure that Harden, Howard and James can share the same State, let alone the locker room. However, it would make Houston the center of the basketball universe. Beverly - Harden - Howard - James - Parsons 4951

Not gonna happen. I see him going to a bigger market like New York. 4951

@PedroDePacas: I agree. Houston is not the ideal landing spot for James and his lifestyle. However, the main problem for most teams is cap space, which the Rockets can clear by trading Lin and Asik. I would say he will consider it but will eventually go for a larger market team, even back to Miami with a re-structured contract.

It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if Houston got him but I don't think the Rockets need him. 4951

@notfromhereI saw the same thing about Carmelo Anthony.........Dude...  If Houston could score either one, or preferably both, of these talents, I might actually  become a fan....and watch me some B-Ball!{....Usually I just go for March Madness!} 4951

There's rumors he's going back to Cleveland. But we don't want him after he made a huge spectacle out of us. 4951

@herron1345: it's either, or. Both is not possible because of salary cap.

He's going back to Cleveland with Carmello Anthony is my guess. Two first overall picks in two consecutive years for the Cavs. Manziel is up there too.... 4951

Bet he stays right where he is, just renegotiate. Houston would be better served to build a long term "team" rather than poking in superstars - cheaper and this year shows it isn't always going to work.  4951
