@KTownTexican: we initially went with the fast kill method where they give them two shots in the back followed by two more 30 days later. But we only did the first round because he almost died from it. Once we got him better we just gave him a monthly dose of iverheart to slowly kill of the remaining worms

Sneakers had it when we got her
We have her on slow kill with doxycycline every 60 days for a month at a time to weaken the adult worms, and trifexis. They usually don't use trifexis, but she had been on it consistently without issue so the vet kept her on it. They said it should take less than 2 years to test negative. I'm looking forward to that.
