We've done it several times. It seems to be one the preferred trips when we have friends/family down here for their first time. It's pretty cool. Our guests like it a lot, because most of them are from the midwest and don't get to see big ships and such. Emoticon  4951

@mogopups: When in doubt, take a wide coverage zoom.

You talking about the Sam Houston Boat Tour?It's pretty neat, did it a few years ago. It only takes you on a portion of the ship channel. And it's free.I've been fortunate enough to ride on harbor tugs on the rest of the channel - right @kwdoughty ? 4951

I was going to take my aunt and uncle and mom, but we weren't sure if mom would get sea sick.  So we didn't go on the tour. 4951
