It was at my house tonight!  I used fillets, dipped in flour, dipped in a mixture of egg and yellow mustard, dipped in corn meal and fried.  It was amazing!  4951

I just put a little mustard on the filets then dip in cornmeal..I've never dipped in egg first.

OMG @n+t               I'm a catfish *****.......................my husband flinches when we go out to eat.  i ask  hey "is your catfish from MS.........where do you get your catfish." he cringes..........but it's a great question if your a catfish whisperer such as I. Not all Catfish is the same............tis all in the batter. I have to say that "MOM's Country Kitchen" did my pallet good. Perfect breading. I'm a catfish a fried catfish *****. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Lucille's blackened catfish is absolutely amazing! I would assume their fried catfish is as well. 4951

liberally sprinkle filets with tony cachere creole seasoning, into the microwave for about 4 minutes or until the flesh is firmed up. done ...no fried oils... 4951

Whole Fried Catfish is the ONLY way to go.Fillets are too fishy usually, I guess because they are frozen.Had been going to Big Shucks in Plano for it when I have visited my DD up there.But they are moving, so that might end now. 4951
