Artist- Daniel Roubechet   Titled-- Uncertain ambiguity. Media -- Stainless steel and aluminum"The piece shown here is one of the artists earlier works. When regarded at a distance, it conveys a feeling of calmness and serenity that is atypical of the artists milieu. As you approach the piece, the true meaning comes into focus. The turmoil the artist had to endure during his childhood in the 5th ward of New orleans, LA practically screams at the viewer. When regarded from various POV the viewer can almost feel them selves transported to the rundown public housing units of the decrepit 5th ward.  Future works from the artist has been able to convey even deeper feelings of sorrow and despair as best seen in his work released in early 2012 titled 'An homage to humanity' :The artist passed away in Feb of 2014 from apparent overdose of pomposity and a general feeling of entitlement. 4951
few months back they did an art class where it was free for everyone to go and paint it in their own eyes, we almost did it for my little one but something else came up. Some of the kids did an excellent job and there is a site somewhere that shows the steps to the building of this. 4951
