I'll be posting here for the next week as I think of random stupid things I can't decide on. (Wedding is next Sunday!)

So first question. Head table. Should it be just DH, myself, & our daughter? Or the entire wedding party? 4951

Now a days it's usually the bride & groom. I would seat your daughter with you too. Then the wedding party people sit with their dates or family & friends. 4951

Never been to a fancified , gussied up type wedding but I would imagine the head table should include people close to you.   Not just DH and you.Congrats by the way! 4951

At the risk of offending those not involved,  I would say just the married couple sit at the head table.  Traditionally, one table to the left and one to the right will hold your respective families.  Now a days, wedding party sits with their dates/friends.  Unless you are doing an entire seating chart, you can do free seating minus your table and your two family table.  That is what is done at most of the weddings I have been a coordinator for and it seems to work out best. 4951

Does the DJ sit down or stand? If he sits, I need to rent an extra chair cover for his chair. 4951

DO IT however you feel like makes sense for you.Who's day is it anywho? My wife went nuts trying to please everyone. When I told her to just do what SHE wanted, she freaked out and was all about what others wanted.Drove me nuts.If she had just done it the way she wanted, and told everyone else to Eff off, they would have gotten over it, and she would have been happier. And I, being a guy, didn't really care. 4951

I didn't really care about the details of my wedding.  I just did what I wanted and kept it simple. I don't have any regrets.  It is your day do what you want.  : ) 4951

Wife, hubby, DD and wife's parents, and hubby's dad sit at the head table.  Sit the mother in law way in back by the kitchen. 4951

For my son's wedding that was in January, the bride and groom sat at a table by themselves.  All of the other guests were seated at different tables.  The families and bridal parties were seated at tables close to B&G and towards the front of the room, by the dance floor.  It was also kind of weird because the B&G sat in a small room and ate their dinner before they started to mingle with the guests.  The guests had a buffet dinner a few minutes after the B&G came into the reception hall. The rehearsal dinner was a lot less formal.  We had the bride and groom at the head table along with the bride & groom's brother and sister.  They each have one brother & one sister so it worked perfectly.   4951

I think the bride, groom, your daughter and your parents.  I think the wedding party should be able to sit with their family, friends, date or whatever.   4951
