@mm4731: I hated reading that part. Her husband should have taken her to the range more.[quote-end-tag-mismatch]
@MAHM: You said, "She's an adult and should have been responsible enough to take herself to range to ensure she could put lead on target." wrong. We also can't discount the adrenaline rush and overall fog of being in that situation. Â Shooting another human being is not always as easy as they show it to be in the movies. Â Her brain could have subconsciously made her pull the shot. Â 21 years US Army Infantry, I've seen it happen to highly trained professional soldiers. Â You put them on paper targets, they are stone cold killers. Â Bring them up against another human being, you're rolling the dice. Â Just don't know until it happens.

@MAHM What are the rules at the shooting ranges for age? I saw one that didn't allow anyone under 21. I would love for my son to learn.[quote-end-tag-mismatch]
@YourMajesty:Every range in the area that I'm aware of will allow children to fire as long as they are with an adult. Â The rules of 18 or 21 apply for unaccompanied. Â DS is 13 and has been a competitive shooter with the NRA youth program in both small-bore rifle and pistol. 4951
