I would never take my car to one of the national/regional change places. They're always in a rush to get you in and out, unless they can convince you to purchase additional services. You do routine maintenance as well as repairs?
@TXSunDvl: I honestly prefer to not do oil changes unless its part of a larger service, like say replacing a bad oil level sender, or a leaking oil pan gasket that necessitates exchanging the fluid. No other reason than it only takes a few minutes and there is no money to be made there. Exceptions are always made for regulars though.Any storefront that sells engine oil should also accept used engine oil for recycling. I know all auto parts stores should, Wal-Mart does, even Jiffylube is generally happy to just take it from you. They get paid for it as a commodity when the pump truck visits. No much mind you, but a little!
