We had a Staffordshire terrier, #10, Butch. AWESOME, AWESOME dog. We want another but every "Staffy" I find is actually a pit bull... they are hard to find. At least for me! We would love another one! 4951
The best dog I ever had was an Akita. I found him on "death row" at the pound. He looked like a black wolf. He came bounding to me in the visiting area and it was love at first sight. That said, I have mainly owned shepherd mixes and they are awesome. I wouldn't trade the two I have right now for anything. 4951
@Okiedokie: One of the best dogs we owned was 1/2 Akita. Awesome protectors. She never barked, hardly, but if she did, everyone was like "OH CRAP, WHAT'S THERE?" 4951
