@cat person:  I've heard of tomato/ketchup based and vinegar based BBQ sauce, but never actually seen/tasted white sauce.  I think I did see some kind of white sauce on a TV show.  I think it was mayo based.  Sounds like you'll need to get a recipe and make your own.

I had the white BBQ sauce out in Alabama and it just sounds good but have no plans on traveling back there any time soon. 4951

I was just razzin' you, @cat person . You'd probably have to order some online. Alabama is the only area really that uses it. I was asked to make white sauce for a couple's wedding and I used this recipe. Give it a try. Good luck! 3/4 cup mayonnaise1/3 cup apple cider vinegar1/4 cup lemon juice1/4 cup apple juice1 tablespoon powdered garlic1 tablespoon prepared horseradish from a jar (either in vinegar or creamy)1 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper1 teaspoon mustard powder1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon finely ground cayenne peppermix together and let sit in fridge for a couple of hours.  4951
