To think our President called Snowden "some young hacker"Sacrificed a job in Hawaii that paid 100K+, gave up ever seeing the United States again, and left family/friends/and his dancer girlfriend all behind. Gave it all up to responsibly show the American people what our government is doing with no congressional oversight. Snowden is a REAL Patriot
@derp: Snowden was trusted with a high level security clearance. He signed a document stating he would never disclose classified information to any unauthorized party. As such it was not his call to determine whether or not the information he was privy to violated the Constitution. However, If he was so concerned, when he illegally downloaded documents from NSA databases he could have taken that same information to a member of the Senate intelligence committee for example to blow the whistle. At least the documents he stole would have stayed in American hands.Instead he flew his sorry *** out of the country and passed along top secret information to God knows who and some of you think he's a patriot? What if what he disclosed causes Americans lives somewhere down the road keeping in mind it has not been made public the extent of the damage done. Then he gets on TV with his sob story about having given up everything which is pure propaganda on his part and self serving. I find it interesting many Americans sympathize with this turncoat because he revealed the NSA monitored phone calls and perhaps emails. But some of those same people don't consider that Google, Amazon, and many other large corporations has more information about them than the NSA would care to knowhttp://www.washingtonpost.com/business/technology/brokers-use-billions-of-data-points-to-profile-americans/2014/05/27/b4207b96-e5b2-11e3-a86b-362fd5443d19_story.htmlSnowden is a traitor and should be shot down like the dog he is. If I was president I would give the order myself.
