We ripped up some of the landscape timbers from our yard and we need them hauled away. Anyone know anyone that can do it?  4951

are you near the greenbelt? just toss them in there. They will naturally rot and be good for the land 4951

@GoldenGirl: but this is wood,, ,take it deep under the brush. If not, you may have to cut it up and then tie it together, so the trash guys will take it.  You may ask one of the local lawn guys running around to take it for you.

@dabearsmommy......Possibly just place an ad under the Classified section as "FREE: Come & Get It"..........Or put it out front by your driveway with a FREE sign attached, and most likely someone can use them on their yard or a project..... 4951

@KTownTexican: I know, but we have enough fallen wood on the greenbelts.. can you imagine if eveyone did that?  I have seen discarded timbers, entire fenses dismantled wood playsets... it would just become a dumping ground and eye sore for those of us who walk/ride the greenbelts... Not so mention a place for snakes and other rodents to nest...JMO

Yes of course we would pay someone.  if you have a truck  and want some extra $$ - I would gladly pay you $50 to take it away. We would even help you load it Emoticon I think it is about 12 timbers and a wooden arbor type stand.  4951

If the wood is in decent condition many people will take if off your hands for free, myself included. Sometimes all you have to do it put on on the curb and someone will grab it. 4951
