Apparently the people behind me aren't home tonight. Their dang dog has been barking nonstop all night. The dog stays out almost all the time anyway, but doesn't bark constantly unless they're gone. So annoying!! Emoticon 4951

The poor thing has a bark collar. I know he's over there getting zapped over and over. I feel bad for him more than anything. Like I said, he's outside all the time. But it's only when his people are gone that he doses this. I'm sure they don't know he does it. We don't have the greatest relationship with them, so I wouldn't feel comfortable going over there to tell them. But I'm sure my nosey next door neighbor will let them know! 4951

@JW72:

Mine have them. But they get progressively stronger the more they bark. So far they haven't gone above a level 5. There's 11 levels. LOL!

Maybe they took the collar off or the batteries are ran down. All I know is that it's annoying. 4951

@taramay: If the dog has thick fur like a shepherd or husky, the placement has to be just right or the dog won't  feel it.Sorry about the barking-we had that problem a few months but the dogs magically disappeared one day.  It was non stop incessant barking 24/7.

I had to bring my dog in already. My neighbor has people working on their house & the dog just keeps barking when the workers are out back. Making me crazy. Then my husband starts yelling at the dog & he's as annoying as the dog barking........... Too early on a Sunday morning for this. 4951

check your trees,,, we used to,,,, I say again,, USED TO,, have possums in the trees, they would run across the fence and go to the neighbors house to eat the cat food.  One night, the dogs were going nuts,,,  I caught the little B@st@rd, with my spot light,, he froze, on the fence. I whacked him with a stick, he fell off,  and he ran off. A week ago the dogs caught a small possum,, he became a chew toy. We don't have much problems with possums anymore, they stay away. 4951

@KTownTexican:

Mine are possum killers too. They've killed 2 and let 1 get away. We haven't had a problem in over a year. The dog that was barking last night stands at their back door and barks. Never runs around doing. Just sits at the door. Poor thing. He finally stopped around 2am. 4951

That's means he spoiled and they raised him inside. Now they want him outside. 4951

@taramay How sadEmoticon They better not leave him outside when it's 100 degrees. I'd report them if they did that. I don't understand why people get dogs just to put them outside like that. A crate costs about 40 bucks, and keeps them safe and comfy all night, and lets the neighbors sleep! 4951
