I hope some people are awake this early. I have been having extreme pain in the right side of my jaw. Saw my dentist and got a clean bill on health. Went to my general doctor who put me on an anti swelling medicine and Allegra. Not helping. It doesn't respond to pain meds at all. Where is a good minor emergency room that is open this early? Unless someone knows what it might be. 4951

I haven't had enough coffee yet, but I can't think of what it might be right now. The ER on Northpark was WONDERFUL when I had to take my daughter in. It's the one right next to the McDonalds. 4951

Okay, good just checking. Women have different symptoms when it comes to heart attack, so just wanted to make sure. 4951

My dentist didn't see anything abnormal. It's more of a stabbing pain under the roots of my teeth into my ear. 4951

He did take x rays. I thought a root canal at first or an abscess, but that would be paradise compared to this. It responds to NO pain medicine. Nothing at all. 4951

Tooth/jaw pain is the worst. The oral pain medications don't touch it because there is not enough blood supply to bring the medicine there very well. Get to one of the freestanding Ers and see what they can come up with. 4951

I had something similar a while back and it was a swollen lymph node under my bottom jaw and near my ear......perhaps that is why the doc gave you something for swelling and Allegra....mine went down in a few days..... 4951
