I'm needing a tutu made for a wedding in September, I want nice quality one meaning sewing machine made not DIY knots. Is there anyone in Kingwood that makes them before I start looking in the greater Houston metroplex for one?
@Madisamm: A tutu (like a dance tutu) or a pettiskirt? If pettiskirt, my favorite (before my girls outgrew the look...*sniff) was Kayia Eve. Handmade, pics don't do them justice. They used to be a huge thing on eBay (not sure anymore...it's been a couple of years)Â but search there and Google for Kayia Eve pettiskirt. I think they have recently (or are in the process of?) gone out of business, but they're still sold online at several places. They look like this... Beautiful dressed up, or down with a jean jacket, capri leggings and some converse.
I think a lot of people make these now (they're pricey...they take like a zillion yards of chiffon).Â
If not, check Etsy. DawnsAtelier pettiskirts are really pretty!
