And the new library is much more impersonal than the old one.I stopped in to get a drink of water while walking, and not one of the three "workers" inside acknowledged me at all. Not very community oriented staff, that's certain.
@FairieMae: This is a bit off topic but I want to comment on your complaint. I used to work in a facility that was often used by 'walkers' for bathroom and water stops. We were conducting business and trying to work, just like the folks at the library, and ended up having to stop and accommodate these folks. It gets old after awhile...not to mention the toilet plunging and cleanup after these people that 'assumed' they were our customers just because they darkened our door. I'm all about customer service but please remember that the library is not there to serve your need for thirst. Carry a water bottle. JMO
