Does anyone know of a pool that will let you come a few times without a membership? I just want to practice swimming with my youngest within the next two weeks but don't want to join the YMCA and our community pool isn't open for awhile. I don't mind paying, I just don't want to join somewhere for one month only.  4951

@BJByrd:

I don't think the neighborhood pools open until memorial day. 4951

I wonder if Lonestar College has an indoor pool that you can use. When I attended San Jacinto College, they allowed non-students to use the facilities with special passes. I don't know what the rules were though. 4951

The pools don't open yet.  You can buy a tag for the community pools when they open.   When I lived at Town Center apartments they were open all year round and the pools were pretty nice.  Just go there :o) 4951

@mpjp0907: truth.
No swim up bar.  No women in skimpy bikinis.  No hot tub. 4951

Thanks to everyone. We will get our pool tags for our community pool. Really I just wanted to let my kids practice for summer swim league a bit before it really gets going.I might look into joining the YMCA for just one month if there's no sign up fee.  4951

@BJByrd: I say go for it!  Make sure the sign up fee is waved and that there is not a contract.   Once those are confirmed you sure could do it for just one month!
