@jls2:

It's been open for a few weeks. Kind of a dumpy spot on 1960 @ Timber Forest next to the Dollar General (Goodie Bag and Subway in the same center, behind Coaches?). Haven't been there (won't), but the reviews aren't great so far. It's called AE's Taste of Korea. Definitely doesn't look like a karaoke/party place! Emoticon

I give it 6 months. Emoticon 4951

@mrsames77: Amatur, get some Beebimbap, jabjae or dukbokee for non-spicyIf you like spicy, there is an entire world in Korean food to explore.

A taste of Korea is exactly what you will find here. As if
you stepped into a Korean families home. Made with a passion and served with
only a hope that you fully enjoy it. Ae is very personable and wants you to
experience her cooking, offering samples to us of things we were curious about.Ae makes her own sauces from scratch including Soy Sauce, the taste of which you have never experienced from a store bought brand. My understanding is she has a following of Korean families that purchase her sauces for their own home cooking as well.She serves bulgogi (beef, chicken and pork), chap chae, bibimbap and excellent home made kimchi. I personally love the pork bulgogi as well as the korean bbq, cooked by us at the table.Give her a chance and yourself the opportunity to try her food. We are glad we did, and took the time to get to know her a bit. There are not many places here in the area to get our Korean food fix, but Ae's will do perfectly well. 4951
