I've been cutting down on the amount of soft drinks I drink.  I am limited anyway because it has to be sugar-free and caffeine-free.  I need to get away from the acid and carbonation in sodas.   I already drink a lot of water, but it's nice to have something with taste. We picked up a couple of the Mio brand water flavor additives today.  I've drank a couple of glasses with the berry flavor and it's pretty good.  I have a lemon flavor that I will try tomorrow.  Just watch the labels. Some have caffeine. 4951

I can never find the right amount of this stuff to add, so I stick with the Crystal Light packets. But good for you - healthy changes can be hard, but it's a great start! 4951

Keep away from those marked "energy" or sport. Love the MiOs and CL liquids. 4951

I can't stand the mio flavoring. Crystal light is okay but I really prefer plain old water. If I want to change it up, I like trop 50 cal orange juice. There's some 15 cal minute maid fruit punch near the OJ that's not so bad as well. 4951

Also you can do your own. Get a big pitcher and put what you like in it- sliced lemons, oranges, apples, cucumbers, berries, pineapple, herbs like basi, rosemary, mint. I wasn't fond of the cucumber and most of the herbs, but I do love citrus and berries together and I love mint by itself. Just meddle the ingrediants add ice and water and let it sit for a couple of hour. You may want to strain it before drinking.

@Jpgurl: I do that-I can't stand the flavorings you buy in the store.  I love the lemon and cucumber which is weird b/c I don't like cucumbers.  I have never tried herbs in there though-thanks for the tip

Try out some teas there great... and if you do some research there are more benefits in natural teas than any other drink on market... I drink calamine tea and it has no caffeine and I drink it with ice with a bit of honey. 4951

I am cheap so I buy the Walmart brand grape or sweet tea flavor.  I hate water but with the flavoring I drive a ton of water now.

I tried the Kroger version of the grape drink and don't like it. 4951

@Retired_Engineer: I poured an entire mio energy, yes the ones with caffeine into a gallon of water and chugged the whole thing. I'm telling you guys I got so amped up I could see sound waves traveling through the air and brief glimpses of the future.

@lola:  When I first tried Crystal Lite, I got a headache after drinking it.  They had good flavors but I didn't like the headaches.

@Drekonix:  Wow, I'll bet you were flying!  The Mio bottle says it has enough to flavor 18 8-ounces of water, so you chugged the equivalent of 18 energy drinks!  I hope you never do that again!
