We are with Tara energy and our contract is up in May. We can renew for a year at 10.9 cents or two years for 10.5. Who are y'all with and are you satisfied with their price?  :-)  4951

Be very careful when comparing plans.  In addition to the base fee, many haved additional charges.  You need to look at your monthly usage and what it would cost under each plan. 4951

you are renewing at a time when prices have climbed a bit. you might consider signing a 6-9 month agreement so you can get a 2-year lock when prices are their lowest in the fall and winter. we are with amigo and have had no problems.

@RobinZander: I will take that into consideration! Thank you very much!

We have always used Reliant and always been very happy. I've never had a crazy bill, and I honestly don't think I've ever had an issue that I needed to contact them about. They send a weekly email telling me how much I used that week and projecting the total of my bill for the month.

It seems to me like our bills are lower than most people too. But we're just 3 people in a single story house. 4951

@Katiemcg: We had Reliant when we first moved here and had outrageous bills BUT we were in an apartment so I think that had something to do with it.. I'll look into their rates, thanks!

I'm looking forward to smaller bills this summer.  It will be the first summer that no one was living upstairs.  We'll probably set the upstairs A/C on about 80F so things don't "melt" up there. 4951

Oh we average only 500-600 kW so maybe that's why our bills are low. Not looking forward to full blast AC all summer running the bills up a bit. 4951

No really, that's their name, lowest elec bills ive ever had... abt 9.5 cents, no sign up or hidden fees... I think reliant & others had some type of transport fees or something I didn't agree with.... 4951

I use Bounce Energy. Have been very happy with them, and they have rewards programs for people who pay their bills on time. 4951
