Called "Fugitive".....
After hearing noises outside my house, I went to check it out, only to find a handful of teenage boys hiding in the bushes, luckily I am not trigger happy or it would have been a tragic ending for them.....then a few minutes later we were standing in the driveway near the garage & 3 more ran up on us, by that time we were over the surprise.....I didn't know about this game before tonite, I guess my kid is too old to play it, but parents with teens sshould warn them how dangerous it is to be hiding in peoples bushes & driveways at night..... 4951

This happened on my block in North Woodland Hills last Saturday night about 11.  The were jumping in and out of cars, blowing the stop sign on my corner in every direction, running up and down the street, in and out of backyards and over the fences. I was out front with my dog and she made a lot of noise barking and growling so they didn't come as far as my house.  At one point, a police car went by but they all hid behind a spot that is a giant tree and bush and when he finished going by they came out from behind the tree. I don't need them jumping my fence and hurting themselves so I called the non emergency number.  As far as I can tell the police never came by.  I can see Woodland Hills from my house and saw 2 different cop cars but they never came down my street again. 2 years ago we lost a mail box to some punks on Memorial day weekend.  I don't remember being that stupid as a kid. 4951

@Puzzles:

I would have been more prepared & tolerant if I was aware of the game, but hiding in my bushes & between my cars isn't the safest place to be normally.....as long as they are destructive, then I don't mind a lil harmless fun....I just hope one of their games doesn't end with a chalk outline around 1 of their bodies....evidently HPD is aware of this game because they drove by several times & didn't blink an eye... ... 4951

I have a teenager and never heard of this game!  I think the kids need to get involved in other activities.  Too much time on their hands! 4951

We used to play this game all the time in highschool, back in the mid 90's. We never considered it dangerous, I think our parents were just happy we weren't out getting drunk/pregnant.
If I remember correctly we never went in people's backyards, also I was in Maryland & people weren't so trigger happy. 4951

@OhHappyPets: Aren't you supposed to be drunk already when you play?

I had no idea about this! It's only a matter of time before one of them gets shot and killed. Oh Lord. What next? 4951
