I found what I consider to be the best this past week at Triple J's Smokehouse off of 610 & homestead! Seriously the BEST BBQ I've ever tasted. If Jesus ate BBQ, this is where he'd get it from. It's just that good. 4951

Depends, Barney's has the best smoked 1/2 chicken I've had.Ribs seem hit or miss at almost everyplace, just when you think their pork ribs are the best, you get a dry rack.Houston's used to have the best baby back ribs, haven't been in years so IDK if that still holds true, but they always had the best creamy coleslaw I ever had, ever.Luthers used to have the best onion rings. There used to be a red barn BBQ outside Manvil on HY 6 that had some of the best beef ribs.My wife used to like Goode Company's chopped beef sandwich and brisket.I liked Pappy's on SW Freeway near Bellaire chopped beef sandwich, it was sort of fatty. which I ;like.i was never a big pulled port sandwich fan for some reason. 4951

Burn's Original gets my vote for best in Houston. Their sausage is too spicy for me but their brisket is the best I have ever eaten. 4951

No Name BBQ on Hwy 225 in Pasadena. A close second is King's BBQ in La Porte, they have better side items. 4951

@FoFa: Are you talking about Joe's BBQ?  Joe's BBQ has the BEST BBQ around.  Love that place!

Years ago, it was RJ's BBQ in Deer Park.  They gave you plastic forks and knives and that's all you needed since their brisket was so tender.  I don't know if they are still open. 4951

@Katiemcg: Welcome back.  One of my good friends was born in Starkville.  He now lives south of Memphis in MS.

@Puzzles: Could be, that is what I thought the name was, but could not remember for sure.
I know when we lived in Alief, we would make the trip about every other month for their BBQ. 4951
