Anyony know who does older car restorations?i have a '68 corvette I want restored, finally can afford it.
@FoFa: Depends on what you're wanting, and what level of resto. Shoot me a pm, I can steer you to a great paint and body guy (no, he didn't do mine) as well as an interior guy for classic car restos. Mechanics, there are many, depends on what you want (buying a motor, having yours rebuilt, ect), I can refer you to a great machine shop.I've restored several, the latest is this 81 TA (link to it below), isn't a Concourse/Show resto by any means, just a cheap "driver" resto, but first one I've done where I did a lot of the work (what I could) myself. Was a lot cheaper, but very time consuming, and nothing I'll be entering any shows with, but it's sure fun to drive!I'm sure you wanna go with a higher level resto with that 68 than I did (get your checkbook out. lol).http://transamcountry.com/community/index.php?topic=10353.msg91854#msg91854 Â
