Why dont you shoot your own images.  Digital cameras give you an opportunity to shoot endlessly for zero cost and on any time frame.  Capture something real and not staged. 4951

@kingwooddiscgolf: While I totally understand what you're saying, there's more to a picture than just a good camera - creative eye and lighting are just a couple of reasons!

Who knows the nuances of children better than the parents.  Take a bit of time and learn what you can do with a camera.  You arent burning through rolls of film.

The bad thing about taking you own is.... MOM is never in any photos becuase she is taking them...   If I die my family will have a hard time finding pictures of me because I am always the one behind the camera..   4951

@kingwooddiscgolf: Good photography is a LOT more complicated than that. Plus, like was said above, then you won't be in any pics and your kids will probably appreciate that some day. Personally as a professional photographer and a dad, I like to just enjoy the moment with my family rather than always creating images.
For the kid's birthday party, check out Sasha Boheme. http://www.sashaboheme.com/She lives near me in Hunter's Ridge and is the mother of 5 incredibly well behaved kids. For senior pics, check out KellyAnneStyle. Kelly is the best in the Kingwood/Humble area by far for senior pics. I don't think anyone else even comes close. kellyannestyle.com/ 4951

here have you been?  Haven't seen you post in a while!

@Retired_Engineer: I've been pretty crazy busy. Traveling a lot, taking a ton of pics, etc. Business has been good, but hasn't left a ton of time for fun.
How are you? 4951

She is good but only seems to photograph female seniors. I'm not a pro but wouldn't mind having some diversity in my own gallery - ie, couples or male seniors (though I'd be more interested in photographing couples, engagements, etc):http://www.pinterest.com/JHkingwood/john-harper-photography-kingwood-texas/John

For boys' senior pictures & the birthday party, try Steve Brack. He just did our family pictures & he did a great job.
I don't have his contact info, but he does have a website and he is on FB. 4951
