I left my drivers side window down other night while at a buddies for a cpl hours, they have 2 cats (mean little bast****s). I got in my car to head home and they both jumped from the back at the same time, using my head to bounce off to get out the window, scared the holy heck out of me. Their kids were out back and came running around when they heard the screaming, they asked me why I was screaming so much, I told him it was the cats, I don't think they didn't believed me (hey, some of it was the cats), probably have a Facebook story going around about it. 4951

When I was in 3d grade my cat jumped into an open dryer of towels. My mom closed the dryer (not knowing the cat was in the dryer) and ran them on a "refresh" cycle. Did not turn out well for the cat! My little brother was looking for his tennis shoes and she thought the noise in the dryer was his shoes! 4951

Woman I used to date (Several years, lived together) had a teenage daughter that had a real bad habit of getting one or two items out of the dryer she needed then just leaving the door hanging wide open.I asked her younger son who was 10? at the time to take the trash out as it was one of his chores. As usual he threw a fit about being asked to put down what he was doing and actually help out. As he dragged the trash outside (literally, he wouldn't even carry a bag) he passed by the drier, slamming the door as he walked out with the trash. That dryer was one that resumed spinning/drying as soon as the door was shut.He paid no attention to the thud thud thud thud coming from the drier, and walked past it again as he came in. Just as he past the drier I was almost to it, having heard the noise from halfway across the house. My polydactal cat has climbed in there to bask in the warms of the clothing as the daughter had left the door open earlier. Had I not heard the noise none of them would have given a crap. I cannot imagine how much wholesale *** would have been beat over that.Cat was OK, but obviously really shooken up. She was in there for probably 30-40 seconds. 4951

I always check the dryer before I put anything in it & when I take the items out I close the door . Just common sense to me. 4951
