It does not take me half my commute to get out of Kingwood. No matter where you live on this planet some days traffic is worse due to volume, accidents or construction. And making 6 lanes only to Loop 494, shall we say bottleneck??Where does Mr. Martin live? 4951
@bubbleyes72: I stand corrected, just did a search he lives here in Kingwood.... who would have thought, he is not on our side if he is for removing the trees. 4951
- - - - - - - - >> ^^^^ Probably River Oaks or Montrose area....... @bubbleyes72: I stand corrected, just did a search he lives here in Kingwood.... who would have thought, he is not on our side if he is for removing the trees.
@bubbleyes72: Me too! after I posted the question I went & researched. 4951
My friend told me! That's where the flyer came from. I don't know how much support there will be in cutting down the trees to put in another lane, which I see as useless. If the lights go out or there is an accident there will be traffic back to the hwy............. anyway 4951
Are we sure he is in favor of removing the trees??? Looks like the blue typed area was added????? Just curious, I am AGAINST this, and I feel like if they put it to a vote in Kingwood the VAST majority would also be against it!!!!! Work on the turn lanes and the timeing - problem solved!!! 4951
If the road is widened only to Woodland Hills that just moves the traffic jam further to the back part of KW. I myself find the worse traffic between Woodland Hills and Foster s Mill. It is not all that bad and to me it is worth the price to have the trees instead of more concrete. Too bad there wasn't more notice on this one or maybe that was the plan? 4951
The answer is yes he is in favor of removing the trees. Houston has the money set aside now and he believes it should be used due to growth. But go find out for yourself. 4951
So I read this and thought NO! But then I drove down KWD...have yall seen the condition of what few trees there are??? When there are a few trees there is just a big ball of unkept brush around them. I am all for the tree lined like on WLHP but kwd is just not that PRETTY..maybe this is a chance to do it right. 4951
