Thx for all the info, I've watched a few of the youtube videos, it looks simple, but I'm going to go ahead and let this computer repair place install it, as he has 7 Ultimate, and also adding Office and a few more programs that cost $ for a really good price. Plus, I hear there can be issues with loading it, so just in case.Â
Pressing down the windows key and E at the same time will save your life
Also you can google Windows 8 shortcuts to get more tips. Â
@Queen_of_Spayeds: I've learned a lot of shortcuts (found the desktop that makes internet browsing the same as 7) by googling, like eliminating having to put in a password every time, ect. I could probably deal with 8 if it was compatible with our office programs I'm required to have installed. Its like every time I need to do something (yesterday I tried to pull up a .mov video that was emailed to me, wouldn't pull up, googled it, found out you need quicktime, but QT is not compatible with 8, only 7 or XP, wth? Just makes everything a hassle. I had to google how to turn it off, isn't nothing simple.
