gee this may be a little bit different than the interpretation at first
She is being called "the brave German." Her name is Heidi and she
stood up in the middle of a Muslim-Christian "interfaith service" and
denounced a Muslim call to prayer by reciting Martin Luther,
proclaiming, "Jesus Christ alone is Lord over Germany!":http://blogs.cbn.com/hurdontheweb/archive/2013/11/16/the-brave-german-disrupts-christian-muslim-interfaith-service.aspx 4951

I guess I wasn't reading closely enough. So this was an 'official' prayer event with Muslims and Christians and she...got upset about it? 4951

Islam isn't exactly the religion of tolerance.  Try praying to God in a mosque in Iran. 4951

Who Emoticon cares!  I'm sick of being told I have to be tolerant of BS I don't believe in! Yet  the person telling everyone they have to be tolerant is intolerant of others beliefs. May have to use the ignore button...

i guess you don't understand it..the muslims were INVITED there by the church to participate in a joint service. picture you being invited to dinner and then rudely insulted by a member of the host's family. now do you get it? it isn't like they were INTRUDING. they were part of it. the rudeness was the intolerance of the woman. and if you want to ignore me, have at it. 4951

That's all you got? I don't really care what aspired in that church, my comment was about tolerance & intolerance. People telling others they need to love  & except "all". Well I don't want to & I don't have to b/c some anonymous person on a local forum says that's the way we all should be. 4951

i didn't say that at all. but she is a bigot. the same as if a muslim denounced her for being a christian. it is the same standard of behavior for both parties. respect for another person's religion is supposed to be part of having manners. and we were talking about what happened in that church, not some airy fairy ******** or some hypothetical situation that would justify being an intolerant bigot. you can make your own mind up. it really has no effect on me what you decide to do or be 4951

Respect for the Christian religion would be not worshiping Allah in a Christian church.  One way respect is ridiculous.People are telling this woman "respect the Muslims, while they spit on your religion." 4951

@thegoodwife

Christ says to love your neighbor and to love your enemy. You can love someone without "accepting" their religion, or their lifestyle. However, claiming to be a Christian and then blatantly saying "I don't want to love everyone," goes directly against the Christian prinicples you claim to have. The greatest commandment is love. And Christ did not ever say, "Love only those who believe the same as you do." I am a Christian, but I love those of all religion, although I believe them to be misguided.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as the incident that occured, I agree with her sentiment, as a Christian. I believe that Jesus Christ is the only Lord, and that's what I believe. However, I also applaud that sentiment of the two opposing religions coming together in peace, although I do not think it should have been done in the church. Perhaps a neutral place. 4951
