Signed in 1215 the Magna Carta is considered the blueprint for democracy. The Houston museum of Natural Science will open an exhibit this Friday featuring the document. This is the first time in 800 years the document has left England. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/courier/news/magna-carta-copy-arrives-in-houston-for-exhibit/article_5f44d202-fa99-5430-83bb-aacc3c68da13.html

One year the Smithsonian brought its touring exhibit to Houston.  A friend of mine suggested we go to see it.The night before we were to see the exhibit, I had a dream about Abe Lincoln's hat.  It was kind of dusty and crumpled, sitting in a glass case. When we arrived at the exhibit, after paying, there was a long line to get into the exhibit.  We saw a curtain next to the line, so instead of waiting we sneaked behind the curtain into the exhibit. In that room was an old car.  I don't remember its significance or history.  As we were exiting that room, a security guard entered.  I thought "whoops, she's going to kick us out for skipping the line."  But instead she smiled.  "Hey, you can't lave this room until you see Lincoln's hat."  She point to a spot next to the exit.  There was Lincoln's dusty, crumpled hat inside a glass case.  It was exactly what I had seen in the dream. 4951

I am a Magna Charta Dame; member of the National Society for Magna Charta Dames. I received a special invitation to meet with other members for a private viewing this Saturday morning. We are very fortunate to have this exhibit in Houston. 4951

the only 'signer' of the Magna Carta was King John done by afixing his personal seal on the document. 4951

When I told my hunny how excited I was that the Magna Carta was at the museum of natural science, he asked me when Jay Z started performing in museums & were the concert tickets expensive. I swear, he really is an extremely intelligent man. I blame the media for this one. 4951
