I like it. As someone who eats almost zero fast food, this is a nice and healthier alternative. You can get salads and sandwiches and meatless things if you want.
I like having it as an alternative to the same old junk. 4951
I think like most chains, it is hit or miss. I loved the one in Colorado. The one in Atascocita wasn't really that great. I haven't tried the new one yet.For the most part though the salads and soups are delish! 4951
I have been going to the one in Atascocita for awhile now. The food is overpriced for what you get. Mainly, it is a nice place to sit with a friend and catch up. I went to the new store in Kingwood yesterday for lunch carryout. They could have built the place on a larger piece of property! The parking is not great and I can see the drive thru line getting in the way of trying to leave the parking area. I ordered a new item - Power Chicken Hummus Bowl for $7.79. I had them hold the tomatoes and onions. When I got home, all I had was a box of spinach pieces, maybe 2 cucumbers and NO chicken (and a little dab of hummus dressing). I called and spoke with the manager and he credited my meal and said my next one there will be free. The manager handled the situation well. Essentially, I paid 8.00 for a portion of spinach that I could have bought at the grocery store for less than 1.00. They do have great soups and bakery items. 4951
We went yesterday. My DD and I had the same. 1/2 roasted turkey sandwich with bacon and avacodo, bowl of broccoli cheddar soup and a drink. They also had dessert for .99 cents. I paid $25.00. I love the soup. My 1/2 sandwich was good. My DD's had the most disgusting pieces of turkey. She ended up just eating the lettuce the 1 tomato that was on it and the bacon and bread. The brownie looked awesome on the plate but really wasn't good and the chocolate cupcake with cholcolate icing and chocolate chips on top was not great. The cake part was really good but the icing not so much. Even my DD didn't like it. And she eats anything. It will be awhile before I go back. It is just not worth the money for me. I wish them luck though.Anyone know how to make the broccoli cheddar soup. Then I really won't have to go back. 4951
Their morning pastries, such as the Pecan Roll and Seasonal Fruit Tart are nothin' less than Yum-to-the-mo.... Yummo.....Their soups are usually tasty and comforting, such as the Lemon Chicken Orzo (whenever it's available), but for the price that you pay, you should get quite a bit more.....and a bigger piece of bread to dip and dunk.... I mean, it's just flippen soup and bread after all......Their sandwiches are NOT at all to my liking.... ...And I've never had their pastas..... And probably never will.... Good alternative to the usual fast food options, but since my hubb is only fond of their pastries and baked goodies, we occasionally only stop by for a morning treat.... 4951
@FallonYou're most welcome on the heads up on their morning yummies.......And I couldn't agree with your post more.........For the cost of their BOWL of soup & the little piece of bread that comes with it, it should be a whole lot less denaro... Their BOWL size = What I consider a CUP size! You just don't get the grub for the buck... 4951
I get the Italian Combo Sandwich and Sesame Chicken Salad everytime I go and it has always been high quality. Â Sorry to some of you had a bad experience. Â Did you say something to the manager? Â Might be a good idea if you didn't so they are aware of the problem and can fix it. 4951
