>> I agree that it is up to Bruce what he wants out of his life & where he is going with it, but I think it is rather late in his life to change from male to female , but if it makes him happy then by all means go for it . At 65 years of age & with his $$ he can do what ever he wants .He has more $$ than Kris so if he wants out he should be sure he doesn't leave any loose ends that will haunt him down the road.Â
@WJo: you simply cannot change sexes. Can not be done. Period. You can cut the legs off of a lizard, but that doesn't make it a snake.
@rundmv:
You can't really say that. People ARE changing sexes. But that's why I'd like to see data on how they are years later after doing something so extreme. It is a huge complicated issue and I don't think people who are happy with their gender identity can really understand. I'm happy with who I am, for the most part as a human being, so it's very hard for me to grasp what this feels like.
But knowing how human beings can be, I do wonder about wether or not people seek this out as a way to completely ditch who they are and what their life is. If one is gay and wants the same sex that's one thing, but choosing to change your body to accommodate that is quite another. I do wonder if this is at the core. Instead of accepting that you can be gay and lead that lifestyle without doing something so extreme and irreversible.
I really don't know. 4951
