"Don't ever step foot on my property again.. There is a price"My in laws woke up the other morning and found that taped to their front door. Apparently, my mother in law had gone across the street the day before and picked up a newspaper that had been on their neighbor's curb and threw it away. She said she did it because she didn't want it getting rained on and ran over and all gross. So I guess the neighbor watched her do that and didn't like it. My in laws called the sheriff and he said it wasn't a threat but told them if they didn't carry now, they should start...Also, they (in laws) found one whole egg in their yard too. Just an egg.. lolSo, would you consider that note at all threatening??
@mrsames77: what is disturbing in this is the sheriff giving advice to escalate the situation. get your inlaws to just stay away from the neighbor period. for all you know they could be meth freaks or just mental but if anyone has ever had to go thru all the crap associated with shooting someone, they know you only do it for selfpreservation cause the associated rigamorale will make you crazy. oh and if they decide to indict you, even if you get found not guilty, your lawyer is going to run you probably a hundred thousand for a bargain to mount a defense.
